What is an ePortfolio? An ePortfolio is a digitized collection of artifacts, including demonstrations, resources, and accomplishments that represent an individual. MCCINFO ePortfolios

Beginning in the Fall of 2016, the portfolio project was moved to the new INFO1322 Basic WordPress class. Students create a Portfolio site through several assignments. This portfolio site is hosted on a server at MCC where the domain name is http://username.portfolios.mccinfo.net (username would be replaced with the student's MCC username). Students will have access to this site for 3 years from the start of the quarter the student enrolled in INFO1322. For example, if the student took INFO1322 in the Winter quarter of 2023, which began December 5, 2023, their user account and portfolio site will remain active for 3 years from that date (December 5, 2026). At that time their user account and all WordPress sites created at this domain will be deleted. The student should receive an email at their MCC student email account a month before the deletion occurs to warn them that this action will happen.

It is the student's responsibility to keep their ePortfolio up-to-date and to continue to add artifacts. There will not be any backups created for sites on this server.
